| This is my first newsletter to my British and Irish readers, and I’m very excited to write this just as I'm about to visit the UK and Ireland for the publication of my latest paperback novel, Nineteen Minutes, and my new hardback: Change of Heart. |

Change of Heart arrived in bookstores this week! It’s about a death row inmate, Shay Bourne, an uneducated, marginal man who’s been convicted of a double homicide, who decides that to redeem himself he must donate his heart post-execution to the sister of his victim – a little girl who needs a heart transplant. I hope it will make you think about some really important issues – capital punishment, the ethics of organ donation, and the moral dilemma of telling the truth at all costs. |

My latest paperback, Nineteen Minutes, was published in a beautiful new package on 3rd April and reached the Number One spot on The Sunday Times bestseller list this week. If you haven't read it yet, perhaps the TV ad will entice you. |

I now have a profile page on Bebo, which is the favourite online social network of British teenagers. Their young readers have shown incredible interest in Nineteen Minutes and the issue of bullying at the core of the story. I find their comments on the site incredibly touching, and it is an honour to be able to communicate with them directly.
My UK publisher, Hodder & Stoughton, re-released all my backlist titles alongside Nineteen Minutes in the same brand new cover look, and I love them all! Here's a sneak peek:

I hope you’re as excited about Change of Heart as I am, and I look forward to hearing from you about it . . . or perhaps I will meet you at one of my events or signings very soon.
Best wishes,
Jodi |
